Hi Guys,

Wow 6 weeks already! Time does fly hey!
 
Well I have to admit when I first joined bootcamp and started coming to classes I was feeling at my lowest point for a very long time. Feeling very self conscious, very large, chunky, fat, ugly and disgusting to be honest. But...... over the past  6 weeks my confidence is slowly improving.

When I had my first assessment and was measured and weighed I felt overwhelmed and burst into tears as I felt so low and so disgusted at myself. I have never been that heavy and had measurements like that. As much as this upset me I realised it is onwards and upwards.. I will never be that weight again, I am making a conscious effort to come along to 3-4 classes a week and my aim is to really push myself to the extreme.

I want to see BIG changes physically and mentally I want to turn my low self confidence around and be a better person, a happier, more content, glowing, generally turn everything around. 
 
I ended a relationship that I was in about a week into joining bootcamp as I knew that this was having a very negative effect on me physically and mentally. I used bootcamp as an escape and it has worked so far.

Thank you. I also would like to thank Lee for meeting with me after class a few weeks ago to discuss my "food diary". I had been eating very little and no doubt not doing my metabolism any favours. Lee took the time to sit down with me and really discuss so much, he was attentive and genuinely cared about what I had to say. It was the first time apart from friends that I felt I had been taken seriously in a long time. I know that the chats are only really due to last 15-20 minutes but Lee actually spent an hour with me and I really appreciate that he did that for me. I haven't weighed myself since that awful day when I had my first assessment. Im hoping that maybe after 8 weeks of being a member I will weigh myself then....

I can definitely notice that my jeans are feeling looser and my muscles in my core, legs and bum are definitely changing and getting stronger. 
 
Unfortunately due to having my back operated on in May 2011, I had to give up my career as a professional dancer which absolutely was the worst moment in my life. I love musical theatre, dancing and singing. I couldn't keep up doing 8 shows a week pushing myself to my absolute limit... Sarah Punching The Fat Away At Boot Camp

Since joining bootcamp I have realised what I can actually still do. I may not be the fittest girl ever or the strongest but I am impressed that inside somewhere is that girl who was extremely strong and has the willpower to push as hard I can and keep digging and digging to get results.

I have been trying to eat little and often to speed up my metabolism as well as exercise during bootcamp. I have also been running to bootcamp the last few weeks just to get in that little extra warm up etc.. So im getting there slowly! I have my dream skinny jeans in the wardrobe waiting for me. So im definitely looking forward to the day I can try those on and they slip on perfectly. That's my aim anyhow! 
 
Thank you to all of you at Bootcamp for being so supportive and also being so welcoming. I really do appreciate the support. When I was a member of the gym at the Village Hotel that was lacking; the facilities were there but the support was not. So I must praise you all for your ongoing support and encouragement you give to us all.
