Weight Loss Requires High Water Intake – Maidstone Bootcamp

If you want to look like a withering plant then all you have to do is decrease your water intake. When you become dehydrated, that’s exactly what happens. Water, is a well kept secret that many dieters are unaware of. Weight loss requires high water intake.

If you want to instantly increase your strength by 15% or your endurance by 30%, and if you want to increase the amount of fat you burn, then all you have to do is increase your water intake. You’ll not only burn more fat, you’ll develop more lean muscle mass.

Such a simple solution.  Free, healthy, effortless!  Drink more water! Very few people are aware of the importance of water to weight loss.  It seems to be a well kept secret.  It only takes a little bit of dehydration to impair your gains. And it only takes a little extra water to see dramatic improvements!

Sure, we are all aware that we are supposed to drink at least eight – 8-ounce glasses of water every day.  But how many of us do that?  And even if you do drink eight glasses that’s just a starting point.  You’ll need more to get the results I’m talking about.

We’ve all experienced those workouts where we are energized and pumped, but we’ve also all had those workouts where we quite literally have to drag ourselves to the gym and fight to complete that workout. Would you believe me if I told you all you needed was water?  Well it’s true.  Yet it is the most overlooked nutritional element.

We are so busy worrying about carbs, proteins, and fat, yet we overlook the most important element, water.  All of the elements require water to work effectively. In fact, 70% of our body is made up of water and our blood contains 90% water. Muscles are 70% water and even our bone is 20% water.  That’s a lot of water!  So what do you think occurs when we aren’t drinking enough water?

You can very quickly see why water is the most important nutrient!  If you become dehydrated, your body temperature begins to increase, which affects your cardio and reduces your ability to do physical work. Too little water and your body has a tough time removing toxins.

You also need water to lose fat.  Here is why.  If your kidneys aren’t getting enough water to flush the toxins from your body it begins to hold onto the water it has.  When this happens, waste isn’t removed properly and the liver becomes overloaded, then it cannot do its job, which is to burn fat.  So lack of water results in a breakdown of the entire mechanics of the body.  Not enough water = no fat burn.

People think if they drink too much water they will retain it and get bloated.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  It’s actually the opposite.  If you don’t drink enough water you’ll bloat, but if you drink enough your body realizes you are no longer dehydrated and moves fluid through your body efficiently.

You should never use your thirst as a guideline for water consumption. By the time you feel thirsty you are already dehydrated. So drink water at every opportunity, drink it all day long, and be sure to drink water before, during, and after your workout.

So if you want to maximize your fat burn be sure to increase your water intake!
